I have the hotchkis leafs on my 2000 rcsb and i really want one more inch of drop out of it.
Has anyone removed the bottom leaf and seen how it looked/rode?
Or did a hanger with them?
How did you like it and so on. Decent weight transfer for racing at all?
Thanks.

I've got the Hotchkis 2/4 TVS on my 99 and I added Belltech shackles to the rear. As measured from the center of the wheel openings the truck basically sits level front to back. It still rides firm in the rear, probably more so now because there's only about an inch of travel before it's on the bump stops. I plan on adding a notch, soon. I haven't been to the track with it.

i don't see why they wouldn't be able to touch, since cal-tracs are a pretty standard mount there's no loss of clearance.
and i'll be doing the same thing soon, hotchkis 2/4 is going to a hotchkis/djm 5" front 7" rear with no flip...we'll see how it rides lol

damn a 5/7 huh? i would personally like to go lower than a 5" in the rear but i work out of my truck everydday and can't go that low.
If i did i'd have to cut the inner lips and even then the tires would maybe rub unless i went smaller and i don't want to loose any traction from doin that.
As it is the truck will squat a good bit and almost ride the bump stops cause i load it up pretty heavy. The bes sees over 1000lbs fairly often so she gets her squat on lol.
Kinda like today i had right at 100gallons of paint in the bed plus other random junk and two adults in the cab.

nice, lol.
My truck is just a DD, i put maybe 300lbs in it tops unless its raining and we need to get the seed in my truck. I'm still skeptical how its goin to workout for me since my truck goes in fields everyday...oh well![Tongue](https://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_tongue.gif)
I'm just hopin that the hotckis leafs don't get all fucked up...there's hardly an arch to them as is.
