Default Anybody ever used ADDCO sway bars?

Im comparing this to Hotchkis sway bars. The problem is there is no rating system for sway bars so you cant directly come pair them.

Here is a link to Addco's web page.

The Addco bar is slightly larger then the Hotchkis and it is solid where as the Hotchkis is hollow. Also so the Addco is gold iridite plated where the Hotchkist is powder coated..

Any input guys?

I used Addco swaybars back in the 70s on my autocross cars. They were about the only swaybars available back then and performed as expected. The bigger Addco bar is probably stiffer, but the end links will make a difference in the effective stiffness.I would concentrate on matching components that balance the trucks handling rather than worring about which swaybar is stiffer. To stiff a front bar will make your truck plow like pig in the corners, while a stiffer rear bar will make it tail happy,so balance is the key. Both Hotchkist and Addco offer matched components that work well in combination. What I'm tring to say is don't try mixing the two.

No mixing. If I go with one Im sticking with that brand for sway bars. The Addco is slightly cheaper, and appears to be better quality then the Hotchkis. I have the Hotchkis springs. The choice for springs was easy. Hotchkis is the only company that make spring rated to improve handling. Sway bars however I have a few choices. Im also loosely considering Helwig sway bars only because that are made 20 minets from my house.
