I'm planning to swap the old T56 from my Camaro into my Silverado. When I do, I'll have a "good" A4 laying around that I have no use for.

Are there any companies that buy "old" transmissions (perhaps to use as a core to rebuild and sell)? There is nothing "wrong" with it other than standard "mileage" (~110000miles now). It shifts and drives fine.

 

best thing to do is post it up in the 4 sale section. when are you looking to do the swap?

depending on what your looking to get maybe I can make a road trip and pick it up for a spare core.

 

I'm not sure what to ask really. As I stated it is a working transmission so it is quite a good core.
