Default Any 3000+ stall tvs trucks out there?

I've got a 1a converter thats rated a 2600-2800 stall. It will brake stall to around 3600. The truck really comes to life over 4000. Anyone running a 3200 or so stall on a positive displacement blown truck. I know they normally do them tight because of the torque but its only a 4.8 in a 5000# truck with a 4l80 where first gear feels like second.

This motor will most likely get hit with another 4# and nitrous. I know those two would make this converter go to where I want but if I go looser how you think it will react. I'd rather have it suited for now setup rather then higher boost nitrous setup

I run a 3600, started with a 3000 on the 80e but it wasn't enough. Went to a 3200 that was a bit looser and smaller diameter and managed a 1.50 60' but still didn't feel like it was enough stall for my goals. A 245-258mm 3200 should be plenty for you.

Flash stalling is better than brake stalling IMO.

I would rather flash but it is a little lazy on the 60ft it would be upper 1.7s.... on the street either way doesn't matter because it just spins. I talked to chris at circle d about it some I just want to get others opinions. What he delivered is exactly what I wanted but since then the truck has turned a slightly different course. Is 3600 brake stall excessive? It doesn't flash that high. And thats at max power foot to the floor. The brakes hold it back at full boost. tx blown I know you ran a high stall and got some **** for it but your combo works awesome.

With the taller first gear in the 80e it was only "fitting" to run a 3600 with my
Goals. On the 3200 I had I cut a 1.50 short time. With the 3600 I managed a 1.47. Not much difference but it's the difference I needed and did this by flash stalling. I think a 3200 would be plenty for you with an 80e.

My 10.5" FTI flashes ~3400 at the track and it is more than my suspension/slicks can handle hitting it from 1K. I never really tried brake stalling it so I can't comment on that.

I spoke with Chris about my 3000 stall with the future addition of a TVS 1900. Right now n/a it flashes to 3400 and he says it will flash to about 4000rpm once the blower is on...a little more than what I wanted for the DD but it'll be one hell of a 4x4 launch!!
