Thats the only thing I'm not concerned about since I've got the welder and the skills to lay down some awesome beads and fab skills.

Yes that is explained much more clearly. The only concern I have is the VSS connection.

Since the 60 has one and the 80 has two. This is where I get lost at. If there are tow connectors for the 80 and the 60 I have with the truck only as one I would need another connector, correct?

A break down of what he wrote:

1. 80 - two VSS
2. 60- one VSS
3. Swap - Extra wires from 60 harness into the 80 input VSS
- Which VSS, since it has 2?
4. "Attach a SS pigtail", what does this mean "attach"?
- Is this a butt connection to the previously removed wires from the 60
connector?
- Where does this pigtail come from?
5. Plug those two WHITE AND TAN/BLACK wires into the VSS pigtail
6. Then he says the existing VSS wires from the 60 will be tied together and
hooked up to the VSS directly above the round gray connector on 2wds.
- What??? Extra wires from where?

From LT1 swap:

The 4L80E transmission has two speed sensors, 4L60E only used one. You will now have two extra wires, these will be used for the 4L80E's INPUT speed sensor. Attach a speed sensor pigtail to the WHITE and TAN/BLACK wires removed a few steps above. It does not matter where these two wires go in the two pin speed sensor plug. Polarity does not matter. The existing speed sensor wires from the 4L60E (purple/white and green/black wires twisted together) will hook to the speed sensor directly above the round gray trans connector on 2wd's, or in transfer case adaptor, or transfer case output housing on 4x4 applications. The new speed sensor plug will hook to the INPUT speed sensor, located abover the shifter shaft on the side of the 4L80E.

Do you build them for 4wd trucks, or is that even necessary?

Thanks!

I see some different U-Joint conversion info. I see someone mentioned PN 448.

This is what napa has PN 448 for:
