Default Another 4L80 swap question.

I have search for the pass 2 days and haven't found the answer to my question. So sorry if its been covered.

When swapping a 4l80 into a 04 RCSB 2wd can I just buy a crossmember out of another truck that already had that trans in it. And if so which ones have worked. I know most just move the mount back about 6 inches on the stock cross member which is what I will most likely do. Just looking for another option that might be easier.

And does anyone know how to get in touch with the user on here named ntmd8tr?

No. You need to modify yours, or there are company's out there that will sell you one. The mounts on the frame are too far forward if it came with a 4l60e.

I'm not sure the company but I found one the other day that wanted $330 for the swap cross member. I am a machinist and can tig/mig weld so its not that big of a deal. I was just looking to see if there was a factory one that would work.
