Does anyone make an aftermarket cover? I never got one with the junkyard core and need one, are the stock alum ones with the support rods good enough?

 

I'm running a stock one with no problems.

 

It is the only one I am aware of. For a LS1 application with a 99 and later 80, the cover is sweet because it will bolt directly to the oil pan and everything is quite rigid.

 

Mine's a 98 and there is a place on the 6.0 oil pan for bolts, would it work on this ?
The only reason I ask about an aftermarket one is because I could swear I read about one for sale in the parts section here but can't find it now.
