Default alignment bushings ?

How many of you guys have installed new alignment bushings?

Just looking for some tips or tricks to make it a smoother install.

How did you get the factory bushings out?

I have new arms and the bushings waiting.

Thanks

I used a bench vise and made my own rings to press them in/out. I think they come with install tools now, they aren't too bad.

I redid all the bushings and balljoints in my uppers and lowers, but for the alignment bushings, I had to cut the OEM metal bushing sleeve before being able to press it out. I just didn't have a piece in my balljoint tool kit that fit it. I used belltech camber correction bushings and they came with three pieces that are used to press out OEM and press in their new ones. I would post pictures but photobucket blows

Thanks guys, I appreciate the info

Feed,
mine unfortunately did not come with an install tool. I'll double check though

ILuvJDM,
I'm doing the same thing. I'll look around to see if I can find anything that will fit.
I agree, Photobucket sucks. I removed the majority of my pictures and put them on my laptop. You should do the same. If you hit "go advanced" to post there is a paper clip at the top of the clip, next to the smiley face. That allows you to attach pics through your computer.

Send them back, and get control arms with bushings pre installed.

If you mist do it yourself, simple exhaust pipe of correct od and cut to length works fine as a bushing press

You can have mine for the cost of shipping if you want them.

You can get Moog problem solver control arms with offset bushings.

I didn't see them for a GMT900 platform. Only classic.

That's why I bought all new upper (and lowers) and the alignment bushings.

Yeah i looked too before doing my '15. 07+ control arms are all the same. I couldn't find them either. I wasn't sure what year vehicle you were working on.
