With the Air over shock you have to "set" your ride height with the ride height of the Air over shock.

If your current spring/shock combination has a compressed ride height of 10 inches you need to get an air over shock with this compressed "ride" height or modify the brackets so you get the air over shock in its zone.

If that is done correctly it will ride quite nicely to sporty depending on you shock rebound settings.
