I got a new bm hi-tek transmission cooler with a 9in fan. I currently have an intercooler in front of my radiator and had to move my factory trans cooler already. Just wanted to see where some of you guys have put your aftermarket trans coolers at. The new trans cooler is 13x10x3 inches.

Run it under your bed if you have a fan.

Up front ahead of the radiator. Just make sure you have it plumbed correctly. It needs to flow through the radiator first and then through the external cooler.

If I am not mistaken the the lower line coming out of the transmission is the flow coming out. It needs to flow through the radiator first then out to the external cooler.

 

WHy does it have to flow through the radiator first? What if its a summer only truck?

 

It doesn't. You can bypass the radiator if you would like.
