Actuator Fail
#1
My truck had been throwing a 4wd code, ran the code and found it was the actuator. My new one just got to the house today, I took the work truck to the parts store to get gear oil, got back and began to remove the old one. I took a pair of channel locks to it, slowly started to turn, and it began to come out. Then after about 2 rotations it didn't feel like it got harder to turn, but it simply sheared off. So I've got half of it still in my front differential. Anyone ever have this happen? What's the best way to get this out? I'm flabbergasted.
