Default AC delco trans fuild 10-9395 is actuely synthetic.?

Amazon doesn’t claim this trans fuild 10-9395 is actuely synthetic.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EKMGG92?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EKMGG92?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

GM is claiming it’s synthetic https://parts.gmparts.com/product/ac...ekFwcy4QsUMcm1

so why is there 2 differnt part#s for this trans fuild? 10-9244 an The AC Delco synthetic version of Dexron-VI 10-9395is amazon imatation?

the container this fuild came in isn't the same shape as a normal gallon container. at first glance it appeared to be less than a gallon but has gallon printed on it.
the container may have bee reengineered to fit in a smaller shipping box.

maybe I should send back an get the valvolene dexron4? They claim it’s synthetic. Image.

I cant sleep at night worring about the imatation trans fuild dam.

I desided not to take a chance on there being a reusable gasket installed.don’t see myself spending $50 on a genuine GM so I’m leaning toward ATP, I think the $10 fle pro is to cheap to be any good.image

Rock auto sells the ATP JG142 for $18.24 plus ship

Amazon sells the ATP JG142 for $24. free ship an free returns. Would be my better option just in case my gasket is orginal reusable.

What type of pan gaskets are you Guys using ? van has 125K miles on the clock.

If the trans fluid doesn't say "synthetic" on the label, it's probably regular old dinosaur juice.

If I was the betting kind, I'd bet it's just the cheeeeeeepest thing they could buy from some maker of such things that's somewhat local-ish to wherever they shipped it from, like most fluids are that are private-labelled for anybody in the repackaging business. And of course since AC Delco isn't an oil refinery or the like, they gotta buy it from SOMEWHERE regardless, they sure as hell didn't "make" it. IOW nothing special whatsoever except for the outrageous price tag and excessive profit-taking off of the gullible. If you want synthetic, send that back and go to the parts store and buy Mobil 1, Valvoline Synth, Castrol Synth, etc. etc. etc.

As far as the gaskets, if either one involves cork, don't bother with it. Looks like that particular FelPro one is made of cork at least in part. In which case use the ATP.

ACDelco Dexron6 is not all it's cracked up to be. (Actually, same goes for 'Dexron8'; instead of ACDelco, use/ Mobil 1 Synthetic LV ATF HP, for example.)
If you feel froggi, you can safely use Mobil1 Synthetic LV ATF HP in your 4L60E instead of Dexron6.

Actuely my car with a 6L80 and 170,000 miles has had at least two trans filter changes that I know of, an still has the orginal metal/rubber gasket. If your trans doesn't, I would spend the extra money on a factory gasket if you ever plan to drop the pan again. If you have to replace the ATP again, that's already the price of an orginal gasket.
