Lee you should of done this when you got back from SF or before you went to Justin's!! I'll be back on Monday, we can use my HPT since your already licensed to try and fix it but you need to figure out what's wrong with it. Ask Joseph, if not look up "Hooper's rear ends" in sunvalley and ask them if they would know what's wrong with it. If they say it's the install I would suggest towing it to them. They've done a few of my rear-ends and they do great work.

I highly doubt it had to do with the install. other than the gears themselves being a different size.
All fixes i've seen have been the BCM needing reflashed to correct a factory error with the ABS. Fixing a loose connection to the ABS fuse on the fuse box under the hood. And adjusting the tire/gear size in the tune and then fine tuning the speedo because the pcm had a hard time with the sizes or something.

This is odd. I had the SES light too after the gear swap, but I drove it for a couple weeks like that. But I dont think the 99-02 have REP mode. Is there any way you can post up your tune?
