Default 99-06 Tahoe rear suspension in a Silverado?

I am wondering if it's been done. The z71 rear end out of a tahoe. It's a 4 link. I'm wondering if it's been put under a Silverado before. I'm wanting to do a 4 link under my 2000 Silverado.

Aftermarket 4 link is a better option.

The 1/2 ton SUV/ Avalanche (99-14 actually) rear end is actually a 5 link. They have ~50% anti squat in stock form (not lifted), but the links are short and weak, bushings are intended for compliant ride, springs are soft, etc.

The fab necessary to fit a silverado is pretty intensive, and for the amount of work required with frame mods, coil buckets, link mounts, frame notch, etc; you could get a better product with a single triangulated or parallel 4 link kit, and have more strength and adjustability.

FYI, the Z71, LS, LT; only differences are OEM springs and shocks. The links, brackets, geometry- everything else is the same. Z71 is the tallest of the bunch. LT softest of the bunch.

All the axles are **** *** 10 bolts, but there are 14 bolt SFs that swap in from the Hummer H2 and 6.2 NNBS SUVs/Ava.

GM played with that idea when they built the concept RCSB Silverado SS, but it obviously didn't make it to production... for why, i ain't sure.
