Default 95 4l80e???

Anyone used or know of using a 95 model 4l80e to swap into a 2000 rcsb? Vince said to use 99 and up models due to the 12 oclock bell housing bolt. Just curious if any of you guys have any knowledge on this subject

Thanks
Brian

older parts, most can be updated, seams like there is something to do with a few old models not having a pwm tcc control, but maybe I'm mistaking. I really dont think the one bolt is all that important....

I would contact a known trans shop and get a comparison/opinion. Just my $.02.

I have a 95 4L80E behind my 2000 5.3, running off of a 2001 0411 PCM.

Works great.
