Default 80's chevy 2wd to 4wd

Im wondering if the 3/4 leaf spring hangers/ shackles will line up on a 2wd after the IFS is chopped off on the 73-91 body style.

I want a square body crew cab short bed 4x4, with a cummins swap to be my tow rig. The only prob is all the crew cabs i find are 2wd, so i figured i could just buy a 2wd cc and a 4x4 donor truck and swap over the suspension.

I wanna say the frames are slightly different in the front between 2wd and 4x4 but it has been a long while. Nice thing is there usually built in sections so you could section it if it was different. Other good thing is, people do SAS conversions all the time so there is plenty of info on the net on how to do it and what to look for even if it wasn't factory equipped that way.
