Just heard from Derek that the 15x10's and the 17x4.5's are now a GO!
Should ship in June.

You save like a total of 10lbs going with the smaller wheel its totally worth it. (sarcasm)

For the track it's totall worth it. For a truck seeing 95% street time I dont think I can justify it. The 17x7s are supposed to be 19 lbs and the 15x 10s are 17 lbs. That's pretty dang light for the combo. Curious as to exactly how much the 17 x 4.5 would save

I guess I need to check with Derek and see why I have not received a notification.

As for the 17x4.5 vs 17x7.... I would imagine the 2.5" of aluminum hoop would only be a couple of pounds max. Where you would save the most weight would be in the tire. If there were a good 27-28" radial 4.5" front runner out, I would likely go with the 17x4.5 since mine will be for the drag strip only. Now I am at a cross-roads....

I was thinking the weight savings on the tires would be larger than that of the wheels as well.
