I cant decide between 295/50/15 or 275/65/15 DO NOT want drag radials/Need everyday street tires. Anyone have an opinion?

295/50/15 26.6" Diameter 11.61" Width
275/65/15 29.1" Diameter 10.83" Width

Truck is lowered 4/7 and I don't want fender gap. I also want the widest tire I can fit under the truck of course.

Back in the day when I was in the 15" game, I always ran BFG 295/50s. Make sure and post pics, I'm curious to see how they turn out.

Those are two completely different diameters. What rear tire diameter are you looking for? Unfortunately there are not many choices for wide 15" street radials that are over 27" tall. A 275/60 is 28" tall but a little narrow for 10" wheel. Everything else I have found taller is either a drag radial or mud tire.

I put about 8k miles on a set of Nitto 555Rs. Other than the expense, I was perfectly happy using them as DD tire.

I'd rather have the taller tire, but I also want the widest. Doesn't seem like there's any compromise between the two unfortunately

I will have time tonight to see if a 15x10 will fit over my Escalade brakes. I'm not sure if the wheel will actually fit yet. If anybody wants any measurements or specific pics of 15x10's or 17x4.5's let me know.
