Question 6l80e crew cab stall choice

i hate my trucks performance right now, espieclay after the leveling and bigger tires,
i thought about a 6.0 swap or a cam swap on my 5.3 but i dont have enough money and i wont have for a decent ammount of time
i have enough money for a stall & new tune.
truck specs for now is
5.3, OBX LTs,cold air intake, magnaflow muffed exhaust , ported 87mm TB.
current whp is 300,tq is 330
current weight is at 5800 with driver and some stuff

my future mods are eather a 6.0 or a cam swap... my whp target is 400-450whp NA or stick with the 5.3 cam it and turbo it for 500+whp

i know this is alot to consider but i wont buy 2 stalls
i still need a 9.5 14 bolt swap and work on the looks and suspension.

note: obviously i offroad and bash dunes and i want an improvemnet in that area too

2600-3000 converter or you can do gears to help that thing get moving better

What size tires, I have 26" rims which are 33.20" overall diameter and I have a circle D 278mm 3200 stall. Also have 4.10's g80. The whole shot is amazing. Best of all it drives like stock after about 35-40mph. But when u get on it she moves. You can YouTube my video called Silverado GMT 900 n u will see me doing a burnout and another one of me doing a quick hole shot take off. Sorry I'm on mobile so can't post it.

Also invest In a try cool 40k cooler. U don't want converter heating up past 200. I have tru cool lpd 4739 but I did not install external bypass. Tranny temps get to 170 tops. If I'm driving normal it ranges from 130-150

I'm on 285/70-17s with the 6.2 and I've considered 4.10s to replace my factory 3.73s. I also offroad and DD my truck and would like to do better both on and off the street. However, right now I am giving a blower a lot of consideration, so the gears will stay stock for now. You may really want to investigate some 4.10 gears to help your bolt-on 5.3 deal with your big truck on beefy tires. I know you're thinking converter first, gears later, but gears will help you whether your crawling around in muck, commuting to work, or hauling *** between stoplights, whereas the converter is more biased to the hauling *** aspect and not so much towards fuel efficiency and low-speed torque. Plus converters for the 6L80E that are suited to offroading and towing tend to cost more than double the old 4L60E and 4L80E units, which is why I haven't jumped on that bandwagon yet. JMHO.

since you are 4wd and into offroading you wont want to go too big on the stall. id say billet 26-2800 since you are thinking about FI. I would def look into gears though bc i think they would be your best bet with big tires and an interest in offroading. couple that stall with a truecool 40 especially since you go offroading and will def see increased trans temps

These guys have pretty good info. Do your gears first maybe that will be all u need. Definitely 4.10's. If you want to maintain drivability. My friend did a 4.56 rear end on his 09 lifted 6" on 35's with the 5.3 and he had ABS issues until it was tuned

dont rup the 6.2 on my face
i will go 4.10 but i wont do that with the 10 bolt ill swap for a 9.5"
and this will cost at least 1100$ not talking about the front diff thats only the rear so the front will cost another 500-700$
this is at least 1600$

the converter will be for 800 + 150to200 shipping here and free install+ 100 tune so thats 1100 it
circleD has the 258mm 3000 for 765$ for singl disk and 1045 for the triple disk
