6l80 problems with yank converter

Okay. Got everything figured out. First off Yank was not aware of my situation of the truck being my DD. The trans shop sent it too them for me and put no special instructions on or in the box for them. I talked with Dave from Yank yesterday and he said that the clutch was gone and when that happened it started eating the converter up. He said it could be from the tune and locking up under to much load that the single disk can not handle that esp being in a full size truck. He was very nice and covered the converter under warranty. But after talking to him I decided to move up to a pro truck 3600 triple disk. He said that the triple disk should hold up in the heavy setup much better and also be able to take power while being locked up no problem. I'm happy with the outcome and ready to see that 3600 in action! I loved the 3200 so this new one should be fire! I don't think the problem with the converter come from Yank. Yes sir. Hopefully be a little faster. That will make it feel more worth it anyways.
