Default 60E builders.. I need help BAD

I installed my HD2 kit yesterday and servo. I also got the hardened sep plate and alum accumulator piston. I put EVERYTHING in the valve body according to the instructions. changed the boost valve, drilled the plate, and installed 2 washers in the accumulator to start out with. With the vette servo I hope its not too harsh.
My problem is, when I got the truck down and filled it up with fluid and tried to drive it, it wouldnt move anywhere until I revved it up to about 4K or so. I thought at first that it was just the vaseline not letting the ***** move much but even after letting it heat up and trying to move it sevral times, it still acts like it is slipping really bad. do any of you guys know what could be causing this??? I have never been into a 60E before so I really didnt know everything I was looking at but if you guys can help out I would really appreciate it.... I am dead in the water right now.

Default Check this!! NOW

How much oil did you put into it before you fired it up? Did you remember to put the filter back in?

I put about 4.5 qts in it before firing and then added a little less than another qt after it circulated... the filter is back on and everything is back where it came from... this sucks ***...

Pull the pan back off and make sure the boost valve didn't pop back out. If you don't get the snap-ring FULLY seated, it will come out with line pressure. The way the bore is stepped, it can "look" like its in there right, but not be.

Are you sure it's full of oil? If so I would drop the pan and make sure everything is tight. Also make sure that all the valve body clips are in place. If it's full of oil sounds like you some kind of leak or valve body gasket folded over. Also check and make sure that the manual linkage in connected. Make sure you didn't blow the boost valve out of the pump. If this doen't help go back over the shift kit directions. I can't think of anything else...sorry!

would the accumulator have anything to do with it? when I pulled out the factory 4th piston it had no spring behind it. the instructions said to put one back in it. it was pretty hefty too... I had a hell of a time getting the housing bolted back up.
I got it to go into gear and move after I revved the **** out of it... it acts like it is just slipping really bad. but I dont think its the clutches that are the problem. it is most likely in the valve body.

It is also absolutely critical that you put all the valvebody bolts back in correctly. If you have a couple mixed up (2 different lengths) you could have the problem you are seeing. Just a thought.

so what you guys are getting at it that its most likely not fatal??? I just dont want to have the tranny smoked right off the bat as soon as the kit is on. what about the solenoids?? could a burned one make it do this?

yes, the accumulator will have a spring on top and on bottom of the piston - this makes it difficult to get the accumulator bolted back up if you have washers in it. getting the valve body bolts mixed up can lock the gears. make sure your seperator plate and gaskets are lined up, I've seen several horror stories about blocking feed holes.

I doubt your problem is fatal. Have you dropped the pan since the initial install to check things out?

Did your trans work before you started? If so, remove the vb and go over what you have done with the directions in hand. By posting on this board about this and that isn't getting it fixed. Myself and tripper are trying to help you but I,m starting to think that you haven't even got under the truck!!! Get er done!!!!
