Default 6.0 swap help...

Swapping in a 04 lq4 on a 06 silverado. Truck has 4l60 with a yank convertor. My question is i need to use the 6.0 spacer with the 5.3 flywheel to match everything up correct?

Maybe i should've been more specific lol.. Need flywheel information. Motor is 799 headed with custom grind cam, tbss intake and 90mm throttle body. I need to know what flywheel to use and if i need to run the spacer that was with the 6.0 flywheel.

Use the stock flywheel from your current motor and remove the spacer from the back of the stock 6.0

So the thick spacer that the later model 6.0's use shouldn't be removed with the 6.0 flywheel? I installed a 06 lq4 in my truck and thats all I did...

Maybe im talking out of my *****you know what****** I was certain about what i was talking about as a 1/2 ton but i could be wrong that the 3/4 ton 6.0 has a spacer,im not sure now.

I bought a LQ4 out of a 04 3/4 several years ago.it didnt have a spacer but then again it may have had a manual trans behind it,cant remember.

Hey OP do you have a spacer?
