Default 5 spd info needed

Is the 5 speed in these trucks still a nv 3550? Anyone know the gear ratios? How about durability?
Thanks.

I dont know what the newer trucks run for trannies, I own an older version in my 93, as for durability, if you dont beat on then its a great tranny, they dont like to be power shifted or hammered on. I mean it will take it to a certain point. I beat on mine and its starting to get a little bit of a whine but I rather have a 4500 or T-56. Gear ratios are 4.01, 2.32, 1.40, 1.00, 0.729 for the wide ratio, 3.49, 2.16, 1.40, 1.00, 0.729 for the close ratio and 4.01, 2.32, 1.40, 1.00, 0.78 on the NV3550

the late models have a Temec tr-3450. first gear is 3.82. You can get all the ratios off of tremecs site. They still dont like to be shifted hard. Mine went a 12.58 in the 1/4 though.
