Default 4x4 lowering???

i searched around about lowering the 4x's. didnt really find anything that i was looking for. i was looking at prolly i 2/4 or a 4/6 drop. but i think that anyway i'm gonna get that is by fabricating somthing up for the front. i dont want to do it by adjusting the torsion bars. anyone one got any ideas? point me in the right direction?

when i was buying my truck i ran across an 03 ext. cad 4x4 that had a 2/4 drop, not sure what they used, everything looked stock up front, might have turned down the torsion bars, it road like a dream but it only had a 1 1/2" travel before it bottomed out on the trimmed bump stops.
actually im pretty sure it had dropped spindles on it ppl do it to 4x4 escalades all the time im pretty sure they make spindles. check out belltech. susp.

I think you can buy lowering keys for the torsion bars too, not sure where you could get them tho..

I wanto to got another 2" on my Z71 also for a 2/4 drop, but I havnt really looked into it to much for the front cuz I'm not really ready to do it.

tom, i think the 2 in. leveling kit would look clean, and you would still be able to do a little off-roading if need be.

McGaugheys makes lowering keys and spindles. You want the green keys if you get them from them thats what the lady told me I needed for my 01 and out back you know you can just throw shackles on it and ditch the lift blocks.
