Hello everyone, looking to swap out of my 6l80 for a 90 an a non auto transfer case that came behind the 6l90, still electric shift. Curious to know if anyone has done this?
reason I want to stick to the 6l90 is I have a 4200 triple stall an a stage 4 kit in the 80. Only problem I keep having is rolling the sprag over. Close to 1000whp a full weight. 90 sprag is much wider than the 80. Plus the extra clutch per pack helps as well. Mounting an plug in should all be the same, driveshaft splines are different? But unsure about the tranfercase operation.
any help would be greatly appreciated!

In for knowledge. How many times have you rolled the sprag?

Rolled it once really good, smoked 2-6 an 4-5-6. Second time it has no lock direction. Just spins both ways.
