Default 4th gear servo --- billet?

Can a 4L65-e have a "Billet" 4th gear servo with a stock servo cover? My understanding is if you have a billet 4th gear servo, you'll be able to tell because the stock servo cover is replaced with the new part. Thanks.

No. The cover is part of the 4th Apply servo, and a billet servo is one piece.

You'll also be able to tell because the shield covering the servos may have to be bent or twisted just a little to install it (at least that is the case for the Sonnax 4th servo).
