Default 4th gear servo

I bought a vette servo and decided to buy the 4th gear servo along with it, since i will have it out and off. what will it really help with , "towing long distances" or nothing at all, or is it just a waste of money

the 4th gear servo helps keep the hold the band longer in 3rd . it relieves stress from the 3-4 clutches, and keeps them from burning up, with is the most common problem
with 4l60e's.its definately worth the money.
