Default 4l80e TCC not locking with frost harness

WEll I originally did the relay method and the truck would not take off in first gear on its own. I would have to unplug the relay and it would take off on it first, then plug the relay in for it to go through the other gears. After messing with it (and not figuring it out) I borrowed a frost harness from my friend and put the wiring back to original. The harness fixed that problem, but the stock converter feels way too loose, and also the torque converter doesn't seem to lock up. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for me to check? Thanks guys.

Also, does anyone know which codes are supposed to be deleted with the install of this harness? His site is vague (I'm sure it's bc there are many different applications) and says a codes or two will need to be disabled.

Check your misfire tables and adjust accordingly.

This. I had PO300 code, wasn't letting my converter lock up. Every time I cleared the code, it would lock temporarily until it threw the code again. A tune last night cured that.

For GenIII all he needs to do is MAX OUT the enable temp fields for the P1870 Diag (this is NOT setting the DTC to No Error; it's making the DTC not run by setting the enable temp to 495 or whatever max is). After that, set P0785 and P1860 to No Error Reported in the DTC list.
