Ya no joke. I went to a hybrid converter over a year ago. So I really cant remember, but in the past Ive had converter inclick, while stabbing the tranny.

Who needs a converter anyway?

Default converter

I pulled the tranny out again, pulled the converter off and reseated it, I don't believe it will seat any further. It's between 3/4 and 1" away from the housing.

I read another post that says it needs to be just over an inch?

I tried one more time with the tranny standing on end spun it and it came down a little less the 1/4" which is what I needed. Now I had 1.+".

Bolted it all back together here's my final setup:
Spacer on the crank first
Flywheel next, humps toward the converter

The spacer I used was about 3/8" I believe this only comes in one size, when everything was bolted back together I had about 1/8" between the the torque converter and flywheel it all bolted back together just fine.
