Default 4l80e slipping in 3rd

My stock 4l80e is slipping at wot in 3rd,It started when I swapped to the NNBS intake 90mm tb and x-link. It started hitting the rev limiter on the 2-3 upshift at wot after this swap, I had the limiter set at 6200 and the shift rpm at 6000,I started noticing it staying in the rev limiter a little longer...now it wont shift to 4th at wot. I'm afraid to pull the pan anyone have an idea other than burnt clutches

I don't, but the same thing happened to me. Upgraded to 90mm and x-link now no 3rd or 4th. Coincidence? LoL...

Mine didnt do it as soon as I made the tb and x-link swap. I have probably put 3000mi since the swap and really started noticing the last couple hundred miles. I wish I would have installed the hd-2 now,but I thought 350 rwhp in a CCSB would be a cake walk on a 80,000mi stock 80e

From my experience if you keep driving a vehicle at wot with a trans hitting the rev limiter you are messing up the said clutch. With the added power or partially compromised clutch pack you are only doing more damage every time you do this.

I should have retuned after the NNBS intake swap,It added some sotp gains and the truck would never hit the limiter before the swap. I guess chalk it up as a lesson learned the hard way. I will pull the pan this weekend and inspect for carnage. What should I expect to pay for a rebuild and adding the hd-2?

Ok I pulled the pan and all I saw was NOTHING!!! The fluid smelled a little burnt but everthing looked good,no clutch material in the filter. I am going to go back over my ISS wiring and after that I'm at a loss. I also raised my rev limiter and lowered the shift rpm and it didnt help. Thanks in advance for any insight. Ok my ISS was broken and I resoldered the connections...topped it off with new filter and fluid still having the same problem.
