I believe the 4.8 2500 vans had them as well as a few other applications.

Scroll down to page 105 for the 4L80E convertors.
They have a single and a dual stator models. Some are high stall, and some are low stall.
I used to have a chart but not sure where it's at.

So I'm totally used to the 3200 rpm stall. Problem is people around me aren't. When I'm in a parking garage it sounds like I'm racing around. I've had a pissed off old man shake his fist and yell for me to slow down. Minutes ago I had some poor kid duck and run as he thought I was bearing down on him super fast.

Must be that heavy pig of a Yukon. What rpm does the truck actually start getting out of its own way at? I seem to recall something similar to what you're describing when I had a dog of a stock motor. With a decent amount more power on motor (cam, compression etc), and boost, it feels pretty normal. Until I drive the wife's Honda
2200 RPM is normal take off speed. I'm used to lag though. I had a 70 something mm turbo on my Subaru STi.
