anybody having problems with overrun clutch in 3rd gear ,squeal if manualy put it in 3rd gear

 

Is it a fresh build, junkyard unit, etc.

The over-run clutch isn't a problem area. It's stronger than it looks. Failures are rare. I would look closely at shifter cable adjustment and if that's all good, there may be an issue with the assembly.

 

been like that for while ,rebuilt with shift kit .I don't pull it in 3rd make awful squeal noise,but other than that its fine.
