Default 4L80e to NVG-149

Building up an 05 Sierra Denali, looking to swap in a 4l80e, who do I speak to in order to get the parts I need to mate to the Denali Tcase? Everything Ive found online was posted 4+ years ago.

Pm a member here named Time2kill, you need a special transfer case input do to the larger 80e output shaft.

I am running a NVG149 on my 80e.

Time2Kill on here made the adapter at one point. Not sure if he still does. Get your wallet ready. I believe it's over $400

I need to get one ordered from him as well. Guess I should go ahead and pull the input shafts from my 149 for the core.

To compare, here is the 149 input modified for the 80e. The output shaft pictured is from a 65e. You can see the size difference.

The internals are very different. The 32 spline input off the 900 transfer case wont work on the NVG149 transfer case.

Mine was done by Time2Kill as well.

I am getting ready to do the same thing. I have the BW4481 that won't work with a 80E. But I picked up a manual shift tcase for less than what the adapter goes for so I might just cut a hole in my floor and run with that.
tcases can be had cheap on your local CL board. or maybe i just got lucky? It was the HD 261C tcase so no adapter needed. it came with the linkage, shifter, trim plastic, and studs.
