I paid $100 for my crossmember, and everything else came with the trans for 650. GMracer here makes nice stout crossmembers, that's who I got mine from. Dustcover isn't needed.

I will need the dust cover I have a ground pounder and I probably going with the new supermatic 4L85E so yeah money is not an issue!

If you ever hit anything that would touch the area coverred by the dustcover, you'll have a hole in your oil pan.

Nothing wrong with a nice low mile pullout either. No real need to spend $2500 on a new trans.
