Default 4L80 Replacement Advice

Hey guys, newbie to the forum. I have a 2006 GMC Sierra 4x4 with the 6.0. Currently, it has 153k miles and is my daily driver but I plan on giving it to my son as his first vehicle here in a couple of years. Anyways, the transmission gave out on me the other day and I've decided I'm going to replace it especially since everything else is in such good condition. I'm by no means super mechanically inclined and don't plan on doing any work myself. With that being said, I've been looking at replacement options locally and online and have been looking at going with a remanufactured 4l80 from these guys, https://reman-transmission.com/trans...s/?code=4L80-E. It seems like a really good deal, i.e. 5-year warranty, free shipping, etc but I'm wary of spending this amount of money online especially from a retailer I haven't heard of or know anyone that has any experience with. Does anyone know of/ worked with these guys before? If not, does anybody else have a good recommendation (personal experience only please) with a different transmission retailer? Your suggestions are welcome I just don't want to waste my money, lol.

I'm assuming the truck is a 2500 so it has a 4l80e currently in it?

If so, just bring it to a local trans shop and have them rebuild it. You'll get another 150k+ miles from your stock rebuilt trans
