Default 4l80 dual feed method

Hey guys, looking for one input on which way is better to dual feed my 4l80, it already has an HD-2 kit installed, but I've got to tear it apart to do a few things and I'm wondering if it would be better to do the dual feed mod internally instead of in the valve body.

Yes internal is better. The transgo kit with the 3 layer plate can introduce cross leaks.

I have heard that, I should have done more research before I put the HD2 kit in, I've read since that other parts of the kit aren't great, like the pressure relief valve they have you put outside the valve body. Unfortunately, I installed the entire kit last time I had the tranny open.
