Default 4L65E and a small cam

I am looking at one of the Texas Speed truck cams for my 6.0L Denali with a 4L65E transmissions. I do plan on a conservative tune to ensure i'm getting the gains from the cam. I plan on tow my ~3k lbs race car to events and drive this Yukon daily but it needs a more power.

Will a mild built 4L65E handle this set up? I have the stock transmission (160K miles) in the yukon so I know its going to go at some point soon. I have been holding off on the cam until I have the transmission rebuilt\replaced.

It should be fine as long as it's a competent rebuild and not a hack job.

The biggest thing is the trans tune.
