Im gettin ready for a new trans mines fired whats better the 4l60e or the 4l80e. need it to hold some power to an maybe some offroadin

Is that what you just said?

It's a transmission, it doesn't go inside the engine

To the OP, a stock 4l80e with a shift kit is stronger than a really built 4l60e
But a mildly built 4l60e will likely do the job
