Default 4L60E Shift Problems

I just got my truck back from the Chevy dealership (after smoking the 3 and 4 clutch packs and breaking the band for 4th), now it disengages 1st, hesitates, and brutally engages 2nd. 2-3 upshift is firmer now, but it's as if the gears are right on top of each other. What's the deal?

Problem is, I've got my turbo back on the truck...the dealership won't touch it if they see that snail under there.
