Default 4L60E issues

I’m having trans issues with my Silverado. Stock Z-71 with the 5.3 & 4L60E with about 50,xxx miles on this transmission. Truck currently has about 158,xxx miles on it. Its NOT throwing any codes at all.
. The only things that are not stock on the truck is that it has a 3” body lift on it & aftermarket 16” rims that have been on the truck since I bought nearly 4.5 years ago.
The trans gauge is reading temps in the 275 + range with daily commuting with the outside temp being in the 50-70’s as of late. I’ve changed the filter gasket & fluid that was still pink in color and didn’t have any out of the ordinary crap in the bottom of the pan or on the magnet. Even after the fluid change and a check to see that it’s at the correct level it’s still getting extremely hot.
My daily commute is roughly 70 miles round trip in mixed traffic and highway speeds of 65-80MPH. When the truck is cold (1st thing in the morning) it drives fine, however after it warms up it starts to act up.
It’s NOT making a difference if it’s stop and go driving or steady highway speeds. It seems to bog the truck down and also shift hard even if I’m just resuming speed with the flow of traffic. It also seemed to “get stuck” in higher gear when I stopped for a traffic light on a small hill. It’s done this to about a half dozen times in the past month and NOT every time or day after day. Once I started to go it seemed as if it was still in a higher gear and felt like I was starting in 3rd gear instead of 1st then “releasing” and taking off. This has happened before and after the recent fluid and filter change.
I’ve put my hand near the cooler infront of the radiator and seems hot as it should be, lets say the same temp as the radiator so ASSuming its flowing and doing its job.
I don’t know if the line pressure is correct and Don’t know how to check it myself.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you cleaned your MAF lately? That's all I can think of, but I'm no expert.

It sounds like you have hydraulic leakage between the forward clutch and the 3/4 clutch. Maybe a bad lip seal. Both of those clutch packs are in the main drum. If that is what's happening it's not going to last long; any dragging of the 3/4 clutches will burn them up fairly quickly.

This seems to be something that just cant be torn down and fixed. Guess I'm going for a rebuild. Any suggestions PA'ers Allentown area that can recommend a good Transmission shop that can put in a bit more of a built transmission that will last more than a crappy 30,xxx miles?
