4l60e bolt to a 6.0L
#3
If the 6.0L was from a 4L80E truck you'll have to use the flexplate from the 4.8 and make sure that you pull the flexplate spacer off the 6.0. If it had a 4L60/65 bolted up you'll be fine and it will swap directly.
What year and model truck was the 6.0 from?

-stupid. I learned the hard way, lol. If you're not sure, just put your converter on the flexplate and make sure the bolt holes line up. I believe the one for the 4L80e will have bolt holes that are too spread out, so it's easy to notice which one fits.

The FLT lvl5 would have been a better choice if you plan on making that much power. They rate the lvl 5 to 550 so....

If your using a stock 4l60e your already cutting corners. It might last 2 weeks with that much hp.
