4l60e to 80e swap cooler lines
#1
I'm swapping to an 80e and the only problem I've run into is what I need to do with the cooler lines. I ordered a 40,000 gvwr tru-cool unit. Do I need to replace / modify one of my cooler lines. If one needs to be replaced then which part number do I need? I found a pair of part numbers for the swap but from what I understand only 1 of them needs to be replaced.

The front cooler line apparent goes right into the front cooler fitting.
For the rear line, I will be using a 2500 Suburban cooler line...thanks to Supersub. It's a direct bolt in to the stock 1500 cooler and the rear cooler plug on the 80e. All hard line. I'm not a fan of rubber hose personally.
