Default 4L60e to 4L80e swap questions

I'm at work so again ill try and keep this short.

I'm planning on swapping the 4L80e into my 2000 Silvy. Will the 4l80e hook up no problem? It's got the 5.3 in it now, I'm dropping the 6.0 in later this month. I'm not looking for perfect, just looking to get on the road without tearin **** up.

Truck and engine are 2000. Transmission and TC are 06

Besides the cross member... drive shaft... flex plate... tune... and some wiring.... it should "bolt up"

There are several well documented swap threads on the forum that pretty well step by step the process

So this Is likely going to be a pain in the ***? I was gonna try and do the swap myself in my backyard over the weekend but if it takes too much ill just have someone else swap it.

And I have to get a new driveshaft and a tune just to drive it for like 2 weeks?

I've linked this thread so many times the past couple weeks. Read this thread start to finish if you haven't, it covers practically everything you need.

It can be done in a weekend, but you better make sure you have two solid days to work on it, and everything you need planned out in advance.
