Default 40k cooler and fmic

Installed my 40k tru cool, its between intercooler and condensor. 81 deg here today and temps stayed around 160 in traffic, stock stall. It gets over 110 here in the summer. Should I relocate the cooler? Would it help to bypass the radiator? Thanks

Sounds like lack of airflow, but 160 isnt that bad in stop and go even in 81 dgree weather

Place it in front of intercooler, i did this on my 2010 project truck

Also your efans should draw enough across the coolers to help keep it cool at speeds

I bypassed my radiator and mounted 40k between it and the Maggie hx. In that temp weather mine stays about 150° with the circle D 2800 stall just to give you an idea.

My 40k is behind my Whipple HE. Ambient temp was about 50 this morning.

My trans temp never got above 135.

This manual is for a different brand but shows efficiency versus position. Page 7. AKA 69.
