4 Link Thread..

I have been searching a ton lately for linked suspension set ups. I haven't been able to find a whole lot.
I am working on building mine now. What are you guys running?
What setup are you running?
What coilovers?
Bars inside or outside of frame rails?
How much power?
What axle?
Mostly street or strip?
Custom made or what brand kit?
Overall how do you like your setup?
and mostly lets see PICTURES!!

I'd read this:
Make it handle - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network
A lot of good suspension info in general.
Some of the major points are; bars outside the frame, stay away from parallel 4-links and keep the bars long.
QA1's seem to be the drag strip favorite, I prefer RideTech but then again I like road course/auto cross.
One of these days I'll pony up enough cash for a 4 or 3 link setup.

Nice link there! A lot to learn.
Seems bars inside vs. outside is also dependent on if you relocate your tank and if you want to run ridiculously wide rear rims/tires.
I'm starting to lean away from QA1's... just from experience and also seeing how a Mono tube design really is far superior to a twin-tube.
Also, pan-hard, or Watts, or...?
And, poly ends, or solid joints?

Just going to throw these in here because

This is Spoolin's truck, in his words: consists of two "Truck arms/bars" that triangulate as far forward and up as possible to a crossmemeber that was fabbed up behind the cab.
Also a Pan-hard bar that is welded to the drivers side frame rail and the passenger side axle tube. And adjustable Fox Coil-over shocks.
This is a very sweet build and one of my inspirations.
