I think we can fab something David, something that will allow the shock/spring to mount where it belongs

Im running this setup on my old trucks. I gave it to my father to drive now. works good just added strange coilovers. This setup is a few years old. Im thinking about doing this to my 2000 GMC too.

Here is my old 91.

The 4 link setup replaces the leaf springs. Than you have to do bags or coilovers to hold the truck up.

That's a huge notch!

I've been lightly eyeballing one of the CA Chassisworks 4-links... and have wondered what the biggest differences would be between the 4-link mounted outside the frame vs. inside the frame. I know outside would limit tire width, like leafs, but would allow keeping the oe gas tank, and seems it may possibly handle better...? I would possibly like a cell mounited out back eventually, but no way I could afford all of it at once....

Also, for the 4-link axle brackets, it looks like you would need a bare axle housing or have to cut he ends off and grind everything off the stock axle to slide the new brackets on to weld them.

oh, and kind of curious if one of those bolt on watts links would fit over a girdle cover...? might require some clearancing...

Yea kplinks has been around for a while. They were really popular in air ride. I've heard they were rated for 1000hp, but have never seen a setup with near that. The only negative I could think of for this setup is that it is designed for air ride over a racing setup.

They are designed to keep pinion angle and side to side movement of the rear end from deviating through 16" of travel. I would not think roll center, anti squat, etc... is considered as much in one of these setups. They do make great products though.

I beleive some of their offerings were designed with racing in mind... they are just rebranded from KP's parent company, Chris Alston's Chassisworks.

Does KP make any "bolt-on" kits for a 2dr 2wd Tahoe?
