Default 4-6 lowering questions.

I recently lowered my truck 4 inches in the front and 6 inches in the rear. I have DJM control arms and a flip kit in the rear. Right now the truck is a little too low and I should be getting my Bonspeed wheels soon. My question is should I remove all the stuff from my truck and try and sell it, or should I just install a lifted shackle for the back and maybe some coil spring spacers up front. I think I would be happy with a 2 to 2 1/2 inch drop in the front and 4 in the back. thanks

I say NO don't remove the lowering kit. It will look sweet as long as your rims will tuck.

Also don't run coil spacers up front. Just sell the control arms and buy some spindles, and do the lift shackle in back

The wheels should tuck but they are a 24x10 with 7.5 inches of BS and a 275/30/24. I am sure when the wheels get here I will be all about it being lowered. I think the problem I am having is the front Toxic shocks aren't riding that good and the rear Gabiel Airjackers ride a little rougher than I would like. However they are nice when I go to load the bed down. Is there any shock that I could run that would ride a little better in the front?

well I've run the toxic shocks and they're terrible. Get some doetsch tech shocks. I just stepped up from toxic to doetsch tech and it's NIGHT AND DAY.

I've tried belltech nitro drop and toxic shocks and hated both. The toxic shocks are just pro comp es3000 shocks except for a lowered truck.

Buy some Doetsch techs from sporttruckdirect and you should be much happier.

I hope so because the shocks that I have on my truck right now suck huge *****. I would like to bag the truck but I will have to lose the heat and AC to lay frame. To me it would seem to be a waste if you can't lay frame and have a bagged truck.

why would you have to lose the heat and a/c? Just run a 275/25/24 tire and move all that stuff over. There's no reason why you can't lay frame you just have to run a smaller tire

Still too much wheel and tire for me to bag. I guess if I really wanted it bagged I would have gone 22 and 24
