Default 4.11 or 4.56 gears for 4.8 on 26's

Whats up guys, I have a 2010 sierra 4.8 on 26 inch rims. Feels super heavy so I want to make it posi and change the gears on it but i don't know if I should go with 4.11's or 4.56. I am also thinking of adding engine upgrades so what gears do you guys recommend? the overall diameter of the wheels is a lil more than 33"
thanks

4.30s might be perfect. However above 33" I would be comfortable with 4.56s. Keeping in mind your drive shaft will be spinning a lot of rpm.

I've always used motive gear as I'm a dealer for them and have always had good luck with them. Yukons are another good gear but they are waaaay overpriced. Not any better than motive IMO. I also sell a lot of richmond gears and they offer cheap excel gears and OEM grade sportsman gears.

What will you be doing with the truck. Mostly a highway truck or street driving/drag racing?

yea I was looking at yukon and they are pretty expensive, imma look into motive better. Mostly street driving but i want to make it fast so racing too. Also thinking of headers, cam, and a tune in the near future.

I'd definitely do 4.30 or 4.56's with that tall of a tire if it is a street/hot rod truck.

I've used USA Standard gears twice now, no noise either time. I feel like noise is more related to the install (backlash, wear pattern, etc) rather than who made the gears.

I do drive on the freeway sometimes, wouldn't that make the truck run on really high revs?
