Default 2018 Silverado t56 swap (what to do with body wire harness junction box)

So I got a 2018 silverado and a t56 I put together I’ve got almost everyone and sorted out except what to do about the body wire harness junction box that’s in the way of my clutch pedal I’m using the factory assembly for, the earlier trucks. Trying to see if anyone’s got some ideas? I’m trying not cut deep into the wiring if I don’t have to.

I bought the 2023 gmepcmx (GM México parts catalog) as these trucks were offered with standard transmissions from 2014-15 behind the 4.3L rcsb trucks so I could at least view the parts diagrams to see how/what gm did the accommodate the clutch pedal but my computers not able to run the program.

The pedal bracket clutch pedal bolt right up master cylinder looks like its supposed to be there nice factory appearance, I built a tubular crossmember the factory would work I want to free up space with the turbo stuff.

I went thru did a complete rebuild/replaced synchronizers hubs/sliders, carbon fiber blocker-friction rings, billet keys, bronze fork pads and shifter isolator, new input Mainshaft-5/6 cluster-3rd and 5th drive gear, roller and needle bearings, update metal bearing spacer for 3rd gear, Main case shift rod, Gto main case, billet 1/2 steel 3/4- 5/6 fork, tr6060 zl1 clutch/flywheel setup, deleted cags amd reverse lockout solenoid(for a mechanical spring setup, Luk hydraulics with Russell lines with remote bleed, lakewood bell housing spacer, gm outer style pilot bearing.

any input on the junction box would be great.

What does yours look like? My NBS is a manual, and uses the same panel as the automatics.

What about trimming yours down to fit, and using a custom connector for what has to be moved?

Did you read what he asking? He wants to convert his 2018 but he wants to know what is different on the 2014-2015 Mexico spec trucks with a manual.

He can't get into the Mexico Spec parts catalog he purchased.

That isn't the way I'm reading it. The goal here is to figure out how to make A junction box work. OP looked up 2013/2014 because they have manual transmissions. (How I read that is in order to see if that would work, if it's different, or get ideas). OP doesn't even know if the manual box is different than the automatic. If it's not any different than any 2013 or 2014 junction box will work, (that was the point of the manual, to see if they are different).

There's two ways to go about this: Find other parts to work, or modify their own. I offered a VIN to look up parts that way, (without the need of their mexico parts catalog that didn't work), and asked about modifying their own.

OP, Ive seen pictures of it. If you can get someone to get the RPO codes, the transmission RPO code might be the same as an NBS (MG5 with an NV3500). I swear the shifter and pedal assembly looked to be the same as what I have on my NBS.

They also have manuals on NNBS in Mexico. Those might be the same.

here’s all the pedals and the junction box there’s . The vin might be useful I appreciate it. Honestly the hard part is any actually get to legitimate websites based in Mexico with a U.S. based IP without using a vpn or something.

dude, i like you already!! you drink RC and are manual-swapping your truck because automatics suck. you'll want to cut off about half of that brake pedal, though.

and if you ain't sorted out your rear end yet, you'll want a 4.56 to 5.13 depending on your tire height & trans gearset. if you picked up a M12, then the 4.88 (4.56 at the highest) would work, but the MM6's 2.66 1st gear & .5 6th would appreciate the 4.88s or lower.

they did not use NV3500s. i can't remember the designator or manufacturer, but i'm 100% certain the NNBS+ manuals used a different transmission with slightly different gearing & input torque ratings. they were also only offered behind 2wd v6s - even in the dually trucks.

Neither did you, but I'm trying to help them figure out an answer. What are you doing other than being a bitch about it?
