2011 Silverado Violent Jolts Under Hard Acceleration
#1
Hi All,
I wanted to get some help diagnosing what I am feeling in my truck when I accelerate. It is a 2011 Silverado 6.2 4x4 that has been lowered 4/6 with spindles/springs up front and a flip kit in the rear with Belltech street performer drop shocks. The tries are very old and worn and need to be replaced.
When I accelerate hard from a stop or from a slow roll I get VIOLENT, intermittent "jolts". I don't really know how else to describe it. It literally will shake the change up out of my cupholder it "bangs" or "jolts" so hard. I have never had a lowered truck with a flip kit so I am wondering is this the suspension just completely unloading and creating wheel hop? If so, I have never in my life felt wheel hop that is this violent. If it's not wheel hop what else could this be?
If anyone else has experienced this please let me know what you found. Thanks!
